MARSH MUD AND MUMMICHOGS: an Intimate Natural History of Coastal Georgia

The book's author, Evelyn Brown Sherr (here with Max the Aussie In Oregon) has had a life-long fascination with the natural world.  Born in Dublin, GA, she grew up on the Atlantic coast of Florida.  After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta, she earned a PhD in zoology with a focus on ocean ecology at Duke University In Durham, NC.  She was a research scientist at the University of Georgia Marine Institute on Sapelo Island from 1974 to 1990.
